If you’ve ever seen a child light up during a story, you already know how powerful books can be. That’s why, every other month, we host a special Live Storytime Read-Aloud at Jack and Jill Children’s Boutique — a joyful gathering designed to nurture young minds, spark curiosity, and share the values we hold dear.
Whether you’re new to storytime or it’s already part of your family rhythm, here are five heartfelt reasons to join us for this bi-monthly tradition:
1. Build Early Literacy Skills
Even attending storytime every other month can make a lasting impact. Listening to stories read aloud introduces children to new words, rhythm, and story structure — all essential for early reading success. 🌟 Storytime Star of the Month
At every gathering, we celebrate one of our young listeners as our Storytime Star — someone who shows enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, or kindness during our time together. Our Star of the Month will receive a small prize and be featured in our store’s reading nook!
